On Thursday, September 12, 2024, a significant step towards strengthening Romanian-Turkish economic collaboration was taken during a special ceremony held in Trabzon, Turkey.

Arhipelago, represented by its President, Mr. Marius Alexa, and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), represented by its Executive Director, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement sets the foundation for fostering partnerships, encouraging trade, and promoting economic growth between the two regions.

The MoU highlights several areas of cooperation, including:

Facilitating collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Romania and Turkey.
Supporting internationalization, import-export activities, and joint ventures.
Organizing business seminars, fairs, and networking events to identify investment opportunities.
Sharing best practices and conducting joint market research to enhance mutual economic development.
Following the signing ceremony, the event continued with a dynamic business networking session, where Romanian and Turkish companies engaged in meaningful discussions and explored opportunities for collaboration.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both Arhipelago and TCCI to building strong international business networks and creating valuable opportunities for their members.
