We are proud to announce that we have recently signed a Stakeholder Collaborator Agreement with the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk, officially becoming a Helpdesk collaborator. This partnership allows us to be recognized as an official collaborator on the Helpdesk’s platform and formalizes our mutual efforts in knowledge sharing, visibility, and support for European SMEs looking to protect and enforce their intellectual property (IP) rights in Latin America.
Supporting European SMEs in Latin America
The Latin America IP SME Helpdesk is a free service from the European Commission that provides first-line assistance on Intellectual Property to EU SMEs operating or planning to expand in Latin America.
They help businesses protect their IP rights, avoid legal risks, and leverage trademarks, patents, designs, and copyrights effectively. Their services include:
- Confidential helpline with expert support within three working days
- Tailored training sessions with a business-oriented approach
- Free online resources, including guides, videos, and diagnostic tools

After working with the India IP SME Helpdesk during our recent workshops—where Eurochambres has also provided valuable support—we are now extending our reach to Latin America. As part of our collaboration with the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk, we are preparing a series of webinars on intellectual property protection, market entry strategies, and business development in Latin America.
